The ride took place Sunday May 11, 2014 and it was all sorts of goodness. Kate and I handed out jerseys to the fast arriving participants. Mimosas were poured and consumed. Coffees were spiked and the ride began.

So that was the roll out.
We threw a pre-climb party in the park before one of the longest steady climbs of the ride.
Complete with mojito bar from Beth's majestic Big Dummy.
Midway stop was at Behind Bars in Northeast Minneapolis. Thanks to Chuck for the hospitality and also please accept my blanket apology.
We had some friends depart midway but finished strong with those that returned to Freewheel.
Okay we had one causualty. No worries for this fine lady. She popped back up like a Bozo the Clown Bop Bag.
I'm not sure if we "did CycloFemme proud" with our first ride for their movement but we all had a great time. Maybe next year we will track our MPH, elevations, heart rates, and mileage.
Probably not.
